Our historic village street will once again play host to the much-loved traditional Street Fayre on the afternoon of Saturday July 6th, starting at 1:00pm.
As ever, there will be a host of traditional stall and games, including coconut shy, splat the rat, snail racing, hook-a-duck and the ever-popular pot smashing stall!
There will also be bargains galore to be found and bric-a-brac a plenty, along with delicious home-made jams, chutneys and local produce for sale.
With 2024 marking the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings, there will be a display of historic WW2 military vehicles and weapons, and for budding sharp shooters there will be an opportunity to get your eye in with air rifle target shooting.
There will be home-made teas, coffees and cakes in the village hall, ice creams and freshly cooked bacon butties in the bus shelter.
Music, as ever, will be provided throughout the afternoon by the award winning Thurcroft Brass Band.
Add to that craft stalls, balloon modelling by the ingenious Mr Twister and dancing round the Maypole, this years event promises to be one of the best.
